Kutch or Rann Utsav is a unique manifestation of the different cultural spirits of the region which is known for its ethnic flavors and celebrative zests. The festival also provides a unique opportunity to showcase the creative originality of the artisans and craftspeople, the assorted array of folk music and performances, mixed representation of culture and communities, along with a vast diversity in ecology, and much more to describe and define Kutch and its people.

Transfer from Bhuj to The Tent City, Dhordo on fixed timings:

Shree Swaminarayan Temple (Approx time 20 minutes)
Made in marble, intricate carvings adorn the pillars and ceilings of the most expensive temple built in the state of Gujarat recently.


Kutch Museum (Approx time 30 minutes)
A visit to the Kutch Museum, to learn about the history of the tribal and folk traditions of the district, will help you get to know about the present-day people and their lives. Remember that visiting a museum is a great way to learn about history.
(Kutch museum remains closed on Wednesday, 2nd, 4th Saturday and Public Holidays)


Bhujodi (HiraLaxmi Craft Park) (Approx 40 minutes)
Handicraft Village: Hiralaxmi craft park - A vision to preserve, restore and promote the art and craft of Kutch and make them accessible to the public. The Handicraft Village is where live artisans can be seen working. The cost of entry (if any) will be borne by the guest.


In case guests have to reach the Railway Station/Airport/Bus Stand earlier for their onward journey, they will have to arrange it on their own. Timings of any such departure should be notified at the reception at the time of check-in.
(Bhujodi will remain closed on Monday)
