This self drive itinerary starts off at Montreal renowned for its shopping , nightlife, culture & history.  Soak in the colors of Quebec, drive on further to Ottawa and experience its Anglo Saxon charm and picturesque countryside. Finally visit Toronto, Canada\'s largest metropolis with multi cultural neighborhoods.
Day 1: Montreal
Pick up your rental car at Montreal airport and make your way to Downtown Montreal. The city is renowned for its excellent shopping, fine restaurants, lively nightlife, rich culture and history.

Day 2: FREE DAY Montreal
Highlights today may include Notre Dame Cathedral, old Montreal with its cobbled streets and outdoor restaurants, the old port, St. Joseph Oratory, and one of the best shopping streets in Canada – St. Catherine’s. The diversity of the city’s resident population is evident in the kitchens, chic restaurants and casual eateries. Bring-your-own-wine establishments near Prince Arthur & Duluth streets are especially popular.

Day 3: Montreal - Quebec City (236 km)
You have a choice of either the south or northern routes to take you to Quebec City and as you will return in the similar direction
we suggest alternating.

Day 4: FREE DAY Quebec City
A free day to explore this truly historic city. Take in the old city with its cobbled streets, historic buildings and strongly fortified walls. Enjoy the views over the St Lawrence River from the Dufferin Terraces and take time to explore the colourful streets, stores, pavement cafes and restaurants.

Day 5: Quebec City – Ottawa (453 km)
Head west today where your journey takes you through some of Canada’s most picturesque countryside, rich in Anglo-Saxon
charm and ‘Quebecois joie de vivre’. On route make a stop at the many lakes, forests and quaint Victorian style villages.

Day 6: FREE DAY Ottawa
You may wish to visit the parliament buildings, see the changing of the guard, examine 1000 years of human history at the Canadian Museum of Civilization or gaze at the world’s largest collection of Canadian art at the National Gallery of Canada. Enjoy the By Ward Market, a colorful outdoor farmers’ market and the surrounding streets house cafés, restaurants and boutiques.

Day 7: Ottawa - Toronto (420 km)
Depart from Ottawa for Toronto via the Thousand Island region for your included 1-hour cruise. Toronto, Canada’s largest metropolis combining modern sophistication of a world-class city with the friendly charm of its multicultural neighbourhoods
